A lovely snuff/pill box done in 18K yellow gold with the top adorned by approximately 5cttw in carved emeralds and .80cttw rose cut diamonds. This box is riddled with French hallmarks, makers marks and purity stamps as well a serial numbered. Inside the lip of the box is stamped “CR” inside a crest and the inside of the lid is engraved with “ 28 Yaun’er 1941” We are unfortunately unable to attribute it to the maker.
Box measures 1.55” by 1.05” by .45” and weighs 32.5g.
Beautiful condition overall. The bottom has very mild signs of wear as photographed.
